Communities of Practice (CoP)

How do we best support knowledge sharing and team collaboration? How do we create organizations capable of learning and improving performance? Communities of Practice (COP) are groups of people who share a concern or passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly.

Learn Tracker

Inspired by Edward Tanguay’s learn tracker, this is a place to record the notes of everything that I am learning from MOOC classes, to foreign languages, to useful code examples and technical how-to notes, so that I not only have an overview of what I have learned, but can search and recall these notes at any time.

Learning Glass

The Learning Glass technology is deceptively simple: LED lighting on low-iron glass creates a transparent white board. With a neon marker in hand, the presenter faces the audience while writing on the Learning Glass board.

Library 2050

Library 2050 is a project that re-imagines the University Library with the goal of starting a conversation. What we are seeing throughout higher education is a re-focusing of the library as a learning space, as opposed to a storage space - what Roberto Greco has called the Read/Write Library.

Search University

Search University is a project about search, search skills, teaching search, learning how to search, learning how to use Google effectively, and learning how to do research, from pre-university to working professionals, and everything in between.
